Zachary Compton is a skilled electrician on the Wellott Electric service and repair team, bringing over seven years of hands-on experience in the residential electrical field. For the past two years, he has been serving customers across North Texas—running service calls, troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues, creating detailed estimates, and installing new systems with precision and care.

Zac thrives on problem-solving. What he enjoys most about his work is identifying the root of a customer’s issue and delivering a solution that fully resolves it. He also values the variety the job brings—working in different homes, meeting new people, and tackling new challenges every day.

Customer satisfaction is at the core of Zac’s approach. He takes pride in leaving every home knowing the issue has been completely resolved and the customer is 100% confident in the work performed. His attention to detail sets him apart—not only does he leave a clean workspace, but his installations are organized and clearly laid out so any future work can be easily understood.

Originally from Grand Prairie, Zac is a family-oriented individual who spends his time outside of work with his wife and two kids. When he’s not on the job, you’ll likely find him fishing, camping, or building and racing RC trucks. He also has a strong interest in anything with an engine—especially classic trucks and semis—and has built an impressive collection of die-cast models. A history enthusiast at heart, Texas history is a particular passion of his.

On the job, Zac’s go-to tool is his Milwaukee M12 impact driver—compact, reliable, and powerful enough to handle whatever the day throws at him. While he enjoys a wide range of projects, he especially likes installing EV chargers and performing service upgrades, where coordination, precision, and problem-solving come together. For Zac, there’s nothing better than restoring power and seeing the relief—and excitement—on a homeowner’s face when the lights come back on.
