Katelyn Wellott

Katelyn Wellott is the friendly voice on the other end of the line at Wellott Electric, serving as a Customer Service Representative and helping keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Though she’s newer to the team, Katelyn plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations—answering calls, responding to texts and emails, scheduling appointments, and coordinating dispatch to ensure customers are taken care of quickly and efficiently.

With a background in customer service, Katelyn focuses on creating a positive, stress-free experience for every customer interaction. While she leaves the electrical work to the licensed professionals, she takes pride in being the first step in solving a customer’s problem—making sure their needs are heard and helping guide them toward the right solution.

What sets Katelyn apart is her warm, friendly approach. She strives to be a voice customers feel comfortable with, building trust from the very first conversation and ensuring they feel confident choosing Wellott Electric.

Born and raised in McKinney, Texas, Katelyn is deeply rooted in the local community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her baby Weston and her pup Ezzie, being outdoors, and making memories with her family—especially cheering on her nieces at their sports games or enjoying time out on the water.

A fun fact about Katelyn—she’s Ryan Wellott’s sister, making Wellott Electric truly a family-driven business. She also shares a birthday with the hit show Friends, joking that they’re basically twins.

Her favorite “tool” on the job is her phone, allowing her to stay connected and serve customers from anywhere. She enjoys the calls that run smoothly from start to finish, getting customers scheduled quickly and without hassle.
